# O que é o GCAP?

Ganho de capital é a diferença positiva entre o valor de alienação (venda, por exemplo) de bens ou direitos e o respectivo custo de aquisição (compra, por exemplo). As pessoas físicas que tiverem ganho de capital devem, regra geral, apurar e pagar imposto de renda sobre eles.\

Através deste serviço você poderá emitir o DARF para pagar o imposto de renda sobre o ganho de capital, além de manter o registro dos rendimentos utilizados no cálculo. No ano seguinte, os registros poderão ser importados para sua Declaração de Imposto de Renda (DIRPF), facilitando o preenchimento.\
